Lots of solar companies won’t install solar panels on special roofs. Why? The sad answer is sheer laziness!
Contrary to popular belief, solar panels can be installed on a wide variety of roofs. But lots of solar companies turn away business from customers with anything but composite roofs. That’s because special roofs, such as Torch Down, S-Tile, and Metal Tile, need a different type of racking system than the standard composition shingles.
The work might take a bit more planning, effort, and time to install solar panels on a unique roof, and it does require alternative materials than a standard roof needs. Other companies don’t want to spend the additional time, resources, and materials on a project like this. But that’s where we’re different. We’re willing to go the extra mile and get the job done.
Don’t be discouraged if you’ve been told your roof can’t support solar panels. We’ve got you covered, no matter what type of roof you have:
- Corrugated metal
- Torch down or bitumen
- Barrel or S-Tile
- Metal tile
- PVC
- Clay or flat tile
Best of all, we’re not only willing and able to install panels on your special roof, we have the experience to do it right. Want to see for yourself? Check out our video on this special install job.
